Stone size

A larger marker or a taller monument uses more granite and more labor — the single biggest factor.

Granite selection

Common grey and black granites cost less; rarer colors like blue pearl or mahogany cost more.

Lettering

A name and dates are included. Long inscriptions, second languages, and extra panels add to it.

Artwork & etching

Emblems, religious symbols, portraits, and hand-etched scenes are priced by detail and time.

Installation

A poured foundation and setting are standard. Difficult access or slope can add modestly.

Paid to the cemetery, not to us — and always disclosed first.

  • Cemetery permit / setting fee
    Many cemeteries charge their own fee to allow and inspect the installation.
  • Plot or interment fees
    Charged by the cemetery for the space itself, separate from the memorial.
  • Difficult-access installation
    Steep slopes or hard-to-reach sections can add a modest amount — quoted in advance.
  • Extra lettering or artwork
    Long inscriptions, added panels, or custom etching beyond the standard.

Most memorials are designed, approved, made, and installed within six to ten weeks. Cemetery approval is usually the longest step — we handle it and keep you updated throughout.
Yes — every cemetery sets its own limits on type, height, material, color, and base. We know the rules at Oak Hill, Calvary, Gate of Heaven, Los Gatos, Skylawn, Irvington and more, and we confirm yours before anything is made.
Absolutely. Bring a sketch, a photo, or just an idea, and a designer will translate it into something the stone and the cemetery will both allow. Many families start from one of our existing memorials, too.
We prepare and file all cemetery paperwork for you, and nothing is ordered until the cemetery confirms approval — so a permanent decision is never made on a guess.
Yes. We coordinate every installation — scheduling with the cemetery, preparing the foundation, and overseeing the setting of the memorial — across Santa Clara, Alameda, and San Mateo counties.
Yes. We meet families by phone, message, video call, or scheduled appointment — our registered office is not a retail showroom. Your designer can walk you through granite samples, design examples and detailed photos so you can review everything closely before deciding.
